Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records of our organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance with relevant regulations, and providing valuable insights into our financial health. The Accountant will play a crucial role in contributing to the company's financial success and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost-saving or revenue enhancement.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the financial health of the organization.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant local, state, and federal tax regulations.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor payments and customer invoicing.

Skill & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is a plus
  • Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
